Fortunately, they were able to do a geat job for me for me after a hardware failure inside a WD 2 terabyte external drive. The vast majority of files were recovered. The interaction with them was very good, they made no promises that they couldn't keep and were very swift in response. The cost of the work i found quite reasonable ( first and hopefully only time user!) - but then again it really depends on what value you put on your own threatened data (backed-up personal photos & work files).

My hard drive full of every family photo for the last 20 years died. It also contained every document I had saved in that time. A hard drive full of very sentimental files such as photos of my children being born. Devastated at the prospect of losing all of this data, I set about finding a recovery service. So many providers had patchy reviews and didn't look legit until I came across R3. The service was very smooth and 99.9% of my data was recovered. Just 12 files could not be recovered out of 77,000!

I accidentally overwrote my Masters portfolio literature review. I rang R3 data retrieval in the morning and Andy was amazing and managed to retrieve it for me within the day. Best money I ever spent, excellent service and customer care. 10/10 would recommend.

Spoke to Andy on Friday afternoon after all the files on my hdd were not accessible, he calmed me down and I dropped the disc in around tea time, Paul took a look and told me how the disc had failed and confirmed it should be possible to recover most if not all the data, and they would drop straight onto it. I received a list of recoverable files on Monday, paid the invoice which was actually slightly less than I was expecting and Tuesday lunchtime was able to collect the recovered data on a new hdd. Great service, reasonable costs and all my data was saved. Definitely recommend R3.

My heart sank when my old 2GB flash drive 'died', knowing there was a lot of important and historical data on there. Advice from a family friend led me to R3 and I'm so glad I entrusted the recovery with them. The majority has been recovered with several corrupt files but I have the main ones I was hoping for! The service has been exceptional - extremely prompt response to my initial inquiry, excellent communication and customer service throughout, and organised collection and return of the drive. I shall learn by my mistake and make regular backups but I shall certainly know where to go if needed again! I can't thank the whole team enough.
